Bearskin: A Shadow Puppet Play
Adapted from the Grimm’s Tale.
A Man. The Devil. A Deal.
Written in an hour at 2am in Spring of 2018, Kasaundra Couch wrote and directed her very first piece of theatre- A shadow puppet play adapted from her favourite Grimm’s Tale: Bearskin. She, and some friends, put it up on top of some free boxes from local liquor stores in her university’s blackbox theatre in a matter of weeks. And thus her life was changed. This was the beginning of her experimental projects and drive for the unexpected. This was Bearskin.
