Kasaundra Couch (any/all pronouns) is an artist and a true experimentalist. They work in a variety of disciplines, exploring a multitude of mediums. Nothing that raises a curious flag is safe from being artistically interrogated. No matter the medium, they embody the punk ethos and being fully DIY- why afford something expensive, when you can make it with stuff found in a dumpster?

Based in the Bay Area, they were raised in an unstable household spanning 9 states. Learning how to lose themselves to exploration and curiosity from a young age- they had an unending hunger for knowledge and the deep desire to share that has shaped them- play in the dirt, run around, cry violently. Catharsis doesn’t come easy.

Within their career it has allowed them to have an expansive exploratory portfolio. They recently graduated with a certificate in Experience Design through the acclaimed performance collective Odyssey Works’ Experience Design Program.

Their most recent work explores communality and salvation within a punk club bathroom. As well as being a creator-member of San Francisco’s own Raining Chainsaws.
